The CSI Northeast Region consists of 15 chapters from Maine to New Jersey. A region conferences is held annually to conduct Region business, promote CSI, provide relevant and timely technical programs and of course, recognize the members and chapters for exemplary performance.

This year, the event was held at the Hilton Hotel in Burlington Vt overlooking Lake Champlain. The awards banquet was only one event held during a two day conference that also included ACX VT and the Northeast Region annual conference.

We are proud to announce that our New Hampshire chapter was recognized as the chapter with the most membership growth of any chapter in the region. The award was presented by Region president Marty Helly and Region awards chair Steve VanDyke. Active member Bob McEachern was present and accepted the award on behalf of Tom House, NH Chapter president. After accepting, Bob was asked by several attendees how NH was able to grow membership. Some associations and groups lose members to online activities or other reasons, but NH has reversed this trend. Bob suggested it is because NH has a very active and committed board that is constantly working to improve the organization. They are always inviting industry colleagues to attend meetings while advancing programming to the next level. Eventually, these invited colleagues see the value, become members, then active members.
